  • When the weather permits, we walk to local neighborhood parks for outdoor play. Mi Casita takes safety precautions by outlining our safety standards before we leave for the park. We also sing safety songs, bring our own signs to manage crosswalks, and the children wear bright vests to differentiate them from other children playing in the parks.
    • We take this as an opportunity to learn more about our neighborhoods and connect what we learn at Mi Casita with the real world!
  • When the weather doesn’t permit us to go outside, we will enjoy running, climbing, biking, building, rocking, throwing and jumping in our indoor gym with age-appropriate toys!
